      Yes! I rarely see galls like this -- in fact, I've only seen blob-like, transparent galls like this a couple times. I think it's a Neolasioptera impatientifolia gall. I have seen it before, but didn't know what it was:

      Jewelweed Vein Gall - Neolasioptera impatientifolia This gall was on the midrib of a jewelweed leaf ((Impatiens capensis). The gall had at least one hole in it.
