Paropsisterna lineata is a eucalyptus leaf beetle found in southern and eastern parts of Australia. It is very dark brown to black with a few pale yellow broken lines on the elytra.

Elytra glossy black with lines of pitting and a few fine, yellow, broken lines.
Paropsisterna lineata (and P. nigerrima) Together with Paropsisterna nigerrima (var.) alternata in the foreground. These are nocturnal and usually found under bark. Paropsisterna lineata is rather different to most Paropsisterna, being less convex, more elongate ovate, deeply seriate with convex interstices.
