Paropsisterna lineata (and P. nigerrima) Together with Paropsisterna nigerrima (var.) alternata in the foreground.  These are nocturnal and usually found under bark.<br />

  2. I enjoy combining beetles to compare features. Descriptions of 'striped' can mean different things. A poorly constructed description could easily refer to either of these very different beetles. Posted 9 years ago

Paropsisterna lineata is a eucalyptus leaf beetle found in southern and eastern parts of Australia. It is very dark brown to black with a few pale yellow broken lines on the elytra.
