Violet-washed Eyed-Metalmark

Mesosemia telegone telegone, sometimes called the Telegone Metalmark or the Violet-washed Eyed-Metalmark, is a butterfly from the family Riodinidae. It ranges from SE Mexico to Colombia. It was described by the French lepidopterist Jean Baptiste Alphonse Déchauffour de Boisduval in 1836.
