A Hooded Chameleon (Calumma cucullatum) intent on its destination This fairly large chameleon was doing the classic "two slow steps forward, one slow step back" chameleon dance while climbing this thin branch. I'm sure it thought we couldn't see it because it looked *so* much like a leaf in the wind. Note that this species name is spelled "cucullatum" by some and "cucullata" by others. Latin scholars are probably slugging it out even as I write this. Calumma cucullatum,Chameleon,Fall,Geotagged,Madagascar,Masoala National Park
