
Appearance
Male 8-10mm, female 9-11mm. Carapace is dark, almost black, decorated with white bands and patches of white hair, clypeus with pale parallel lines. Abdomen is black with meridian white stripe ending in series of chevrons and spots. Lateral edge is white. legs have spots.
Distribution
South Africa, eastern to southern coastal regions as well as further inland to the north of the country.Habitat
Low vegetation in the open.Food
