Comber

Serranus cabrilla

The Comber is a species of fish in the family Serranidae. It lives in the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea and the Atlantic coast from the British Isles to the Cape of Good Hope, including the Azores, Madeira and the Canary Islands.

Appearance

Size can vary from 5–25 centimetres in normal individual to up to 40 cm.
Comber Is a yellowish-grey or reddish fish, with 7-9 brown vertical bands on upper part and a few yellow or orange longitudinal lines on sides of head. Size: to 40 cm
