Appearance

Translucent orangy-brown with the elytra mostly darkened, except for a large central spot frontally on the disc.

Naming

Some confusion is possible due to the naming of Arsipoda montana D'Alessandro, Samuelson & Biondi, 2016, described as a new species from Humboldt mountain, New Caledonia, being a junior homonym and in need of a replacement name (yet to be published).
