This is a blind commensal/mutualist in the nests of many species of Ants.
The taxonomy seems to be in flux with various family names being used by different authors (Cyphoderidae, Paronellidae, Lepidocyrtidae).
Here I've chosen to follow this remark by Frans Janssens (2018):
"We propose to cluster Paronellini and Cyphoderini in Cyphoderinae, under Lepidocyrtidae, in line with the molecular phylogeny of Zhang et al., 2015, and the morphological study of Zeppelini & Oliveira, 2016."

Appearance
C. albinus are small and completely white. Like many other myrmecophilous species living in the darkness of Ant's nests it has completely lost eyesight and has no eyes.Naming
