This is a blind commensal/mutualist in the nests of many species of Ants.<br />
The taxonomy seems to be in flux with various family names being used by different authors (Cyphoderidae, Paronellidae, Lepidocyrtidae).<br />
Here I've chosen to follow this remark by Frans Janssens (2018):<br />
"We propose to cluster Paronellini and Cyphoderini in Cyphoderinae, under Lepidocyrtidae, in line with the molecular phylogeny of Zhang et al., 2015, and the morphological study of Zeppelini & Oliveira, 2016."<br />
