Olive Bush Anole

Anolis krugi

Anolis krugi, commonly known as the “mountain gardener Anole” or as a "grass Anole". It is a small-sized sexually dimorphic lizard (SVL: 45 mm), with a greenish body color, small black spots on the back and flanks, a distinct pale or cream color lateral line that extends posteriorly to the groin, and a yellow or orange-yellow dewlap.

Habitat

Usually this species is found less than 1 m above the ground, on leaves and perches of small diameter. It is widely distributed in the island, both in lowlands and highlands, in shady as well as open habitats.
