While vacationing with the in-laws, I spotted this fellow in the vegetation while waiting for others to use the restrooms.

    1. Everyone needs more anoles. I noticed that some of the anoles were listed in family Polychrotidae (old arrangement) instead of Dactyloidae (new arrangement), so I corrected those. Posted 5 years ago

Anolis krugi, commonly known as the “mountain gardener Anole” or as a "grass Anole". It is a small-sized sexually dimorphic lizard (SVL: 45 mm), with a greenish body color, small black spots on the back and flanks, a distinct pale or cream color lateral line that extends posteriorly to the groin, and a yellow or orange-yellow dewlap.
