Scytinotus longinquus

Scytinotus longinquus

A species of fungus in the Pleurotaceae family. Previously known as Panellus longinquus.
Pretty in Pink! These mushrooms attracted my attention because of their colour. They were growing with the moss on a decaying deciduous branch. The stems were hollow and quite tough. The caps were wet (we have had lots and lots of rain after the cold and snow) but “slimy” as well. The largest would be about 5cm across. Canada,Geotagged,Scytinotus longinquus
