
Appearance
Hylotelephium telephioides is a herbaceous plant with alternate, simple leaves, on succulent stems, with sparse, irregular toothing. The flowers are pale pink, borne in fall—the similar species Hylotelephium spectabile and H. telephium both flowers that are a significantly darker pink.
Status
Hylotelephium telephioides is the only stonecrop native to NY, where it is considered endangered. It should also be considered rare or threatened throughout its native range.References:
