
Live-forever - Hylotelephium telephioides
I've been admiring the succulent leaves on this plant and its companions all summer, waiting and wondering what the flowers would look like. They have finally bloomed and have attracted so many different hymenopterans, flies, and butterflies that it's overwhelming.

Hylotelephium telephioides is a plant in the stonecrop family, Crassulaceae. Its common names include Allegheny stonecrop and live-forever. Its native range extends from Georgia to Illinois and New York, and it has introduced populations in Ontario. In the wild, it is found on rock outcrops, especially at moderate to high elevations.
