Appearance

Crape jasmine is a very common shrub in India and Bangladesh. It generally grows to a height of 5 to 6 ft. The large shiny leaves are deep green and about 6 inches in length and 2 inches in width. The waxy blossoms are found in small clusters on the stem tips. These blossoms have white five-petaled pinwheels.

Crape jasmine blooms in spring but flowers appear sporatically all year. The single blossom does not have any fragrance, but the cluster of blossoms has a beautiful smell.
