Mymar taprobanicum

Mymar taprobanicum is a species of fairyfly in the family Mymaridae.
Fairyfly - Mymar taprobanicum (Family Mymaridae) The tiny insect seen on this frog's head is a fairyfly. It was less than 1 mm long! This family includes the world's smallest known insects. They are insect egg parasitoids. I'm not sure why it was on the frog, but it didn't stay long.

*Species ID is likely, but tentative.
