Northern Cat-eyed Snake

Leptodeira septentrionalis is a semi-arboreal, nocturnal snake found from the southern tip of Texas down to northern South America. It is a rear-fanged species not thought to be dangerous to humans. Its diet is mainly frogs, with some rodents, lizards, and snakes.
