Madagascar's unique species
Madagascar is the home of many endemic species, species occuring nowhere but on this island due to its evolutionary isolation. About 80% of all Madagascar species are endemic. Of that 80%, many species are locally endemic: occuring on certain (or only one) location on the island.
This photo collection celebrates some of Madagascar's unique species.
