Parectatosoma echinus P. echinus is a spieces of stick insect (here a female) recognised by the spike along its skin. This one is around 10cm found in Ranomafana forest. In malagasy language "ranomafana" means "hot water", indeed there's thermal water near the main river called Namorona.
