An extremely silly yet serious-looking Elongate Leaf Chameleon (Palleon nasus)
Oh, the stories it could tell, if it could only tell stories. These particularly pointy little critters used to be considered part of the genus Brookesia, but they were deemed distinctive enough in appearance and DNA to warrant their very own genus (along with even more obscure cousin Palleon lolantany).

"Palleon nasus", commonly known as the elongate leaf chameleon, is a species of chameleon endemic to Madagascar. It was initially described by Boulenger in 1887. The species contains two subspecies, "P. n. nasus" and "P. n. pauliani". It grows no more than 9 cm.
