Flora of South West Asia

SW Asia has one of the richest and unique floras of the world. Alpine zones of the Caucasus change to steppes and semi-deserts, Mediterranean vegetation change to semi-desert and extreme desert towards to Arabian deserts. This list will cover some of the most striking flowers of the region, as well as endangered species, trees or just small charming plants.
