  2. Dear Christine Young, I'm afraid that you have misidentified my picture as Diplotaxis glauca, which is an endangered species from Cape Verde Islands. My picture is for sure D. harra, a common plant in the desert in Israel. Posted 6 years ago

Diplotaxis harra is a flower in the Diplotaxis genus (named "wall-rockets"). They are annual or perennial plants, either herbaceous or sub-shrubby with a woody base. The flowers are yellow in most species, but are white in Diplotaxis erucoides and violet in Diplotaxis acris.
