
Androcymbium palaestinum
A stalkless bulb. Leave long narrow and pointed. Flowers in the middle of the leave rosette. Perianth segments 6, white, purple striped or plain. Anthers six, emerging from six nectaries. This plant was found in the extreme desert, where it blooms only once is several years when there are rare heavy rains.
