    Gorgeous little frog! I think it's in family Hylidae. Overall green color and somewhat translucent belly are reminiscent of glass frogs (Centrolenidae), but I think all of the glass frogs have wide, round snouts, unlike this one's narrow, pointy snout.

    Looks almost like Sphaenorhynchus but the eyes don't look right and the proportions seem a little off. Still, I wouldn't be shocked if it ended up being Sphaenorhynchus.

    Also reminds me of Scarthyla but that genus isn't known from anywhere nearby, so probably not that.

    Doesn't look like Boana or Osteocephalus or Dendropsophus or Trachycephalus or Smilisca to me. I'm not as familiar with the other genera listed on https://www.batrachia.com/orden-anura/hylidae-127-spp/

      Thanks so much, John! Looking at examples of Sphaenorhynchus it sure looks very close to me, in particular that pointy snout. Perhaps it was a juvenile, it sure was tiny. Posted 6 years ago

        The proportions look like an adult to me. The smallest of the Sphaenorhynchus is S. carneus, but the head shape and eye color aren't quite right. So many frogs! Posted 6 years ago
