Watson Lake Watson Lake is one of two reservoirs at the Granite Dells, in Prescott, Arizona, that was formed in the early 1900s when the Chino Valley Irrigation District built a dam on Granite Creek. The City of Prescott bought the reservoir and surrounding land in 1997 to preserve it as recreational land. Local rockclimbers use the granite cliffs above and adjacent to the lake for top-roping and lead climbing. The lake is also the home of TriCity Prep Rowing Crew, a local high school team and only rowing team in Northern Arizona. Geotagged,Summer,United States Click/tap to enlarge

    1. Rare sight in Arizona. Water is scarce so what we have is cherished. Posted 6 years ago
      1. We kind of have the opposite: so much water that we just create new land :) Our latest creation was revealed this weekend, after 4 years of non-stop sanding:

            1. Sorry, image replacement isn't possible. An image is given a fixed ID and location after uploading. If you prefer the other one, it's best to delete this one. Posted 6 years ago
  2. Fantastic shot! Posted 6 years ago
    1. Thanks. This lacks detail scaled down. The original 4 shots merged in PS is 1.2G @ 60+ mb per raw image file. I am working on a 8 image compilation right now. Posted 6 years ago
      1. Awesome! You have some impressive skills :) Posted 6 years ago
        1. You are way too kind... Here is a redo much better overall and definitely better resolution. 8 shots
