Just noted that this may actually well be Ch. gibeauxi - recently resurrected from synonymy with pallens ... will check with Pierre Tillier on that next ...
1. Very cool, and much wanted addition!
PS: will you set the country? I'm almost getting afraid to keep asking ;)

1. I still feel weird about setting it to Netherlands with a specimen sent to me from Austria, but I suppose I'll have to get used to living with that idea ... ;o) Posted 7 years ago
1. Arp, your nickname is Pudding4brains and you obsess over the strangest bugs. I think it is time to embrace weird, don't fight it ;) Posted 7 years ago
2. I would be weird about that too! :) I'd probably set it to the "location found" rather than the "location stored." But maybe I'm a weirdo too? Posted 7 years ago
1. Hi Lisa, thanks for supporting me in being weird - makes the world less of a lonely place ;o)
Just FYI, the original conversation about this is here:
Panorpa amurensis Snapshots of specimen in the collection of the Naturalis Biodiversity Center (Leiden, Netherlands)
You can use these freely, but need to credit Naturalis for making the collection available, hence licensed as CC-BY (Attribution)

Note: The image is taken in the Netherlands, but the species natural range is the Russian far East and Korea Mecoptera,Naturalis Biodiversity Center,Panorpa,Panorpa amurensis,Panorpidae

Both strategies probably have their merits, it's just that "by gut feeling" I would have gone the other way ...
