Giant Anteater - walking, Zie-Zoo, Netherlands
Here's Alice the Anteater, a local celebrity in this zoo. This would probably rank as the #1 mammal I'd like to see in the wild one day. They are so weird as well as graceful. In this shot you can see how they basically walk on their knuckles, their giant claws never touch the ground. This is to protect these essential tools which they use to open ant and termite hills.

The giant anteater, also known as the ant bear, is a large insectivorous mammal native to Central and South America. It is one of four living species of anteaters and is classified with sloths in the order Pilosa.
