  1. Lovely shot! Did you know that giant anteaters walk on their fists? Not sure why - something to do with keeping their claws sharp. Also (and I love this fact), their stomachs don't have any acid for digestion...Instead, they use the formic acid from the insects that they eat! Posted 4 years ago

The giant anteater, also known as the ant bear, is a large insectivorous mammal native to Central and South America. It is one of four living species of anteaters and is classified with sloths in the order Pilosa.
