  1. Wow, what on earth is this creature??? Posted 13 years ago
    1. It's a Plume moth (dutch: Vedermot).

I have put an ID to it of a plume moth specie (Emmelina monodactyla) because i have photographed that one before and it looks the same, but it can be some other specie in that family as well.

Beautiful plume moth Dutch name: Scherphoekvedermot Amblyptilia acanthadactyla,Austria,Geotagged

      1. Thanks so much. Now that you mention it, I do recall seeing a similar creature before. Posted 13 years ago
      2. There are a few similar species, but Emmelina monodactyla doesn't have white stripes.
        Crombrugghia distans
        Geina didactyla
        Oxyptilus spp.

        1. I would say the Crombrugghia distans. That specy lives in Europe, Asia and Africa and that matches blackdiamond his location in Turkey. Posted 10 years ago
