Sun Bears on Borneo (Helarctos malayanus euryspilus) are sufficiently different from those on the Asian mainland and Sumatra, representing the typical form (H. m. malayanus), as to warrant subspecific differentiation (Meijaard 2004)

You also posted one, probably from a zoo in Holland? For your post, am not sure if its from Asian Mainland or Sumatra.
Those from Borneo are recognised as subspecies, which I created. But I am not sure if I should delete and re-ID the few by others from Borneo. Let me know :D Posted 8 years ago

Its guaranteed sighting if you go to Bornean SunBear Conservstion Center, which is just next to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Of course wild sightings are more difficult to come by. Posted 8 years ago
