Javan Lutungs - Trachypithecus auratus, Photo 1
I watched these monkeys for quite awhile as they interacted with each other, seemingly oblivious to my presence. This is the first photo in the series and shows the black lutung holding the brown one's hand.

The Javan lutung, ''Trachypithecus auratus'' also known as the ebony lutung and Javan langur, is an Old World monkey from the Colobinae subfamily. It is most commonly glossy black with a brownish tinge to its legs, sides, and "sideburns". It is found on and endemic to the island of Java, as well as on several of the surrounding Indonesian islands.
