I first spotted these two plants in May 2021 and went back to check on them a couple days ago. Only one plant is blooming. One plant is small and tattered. The larger plant has a bud that was partially open and tattered leaves. No other plants were observed in the area.<br />

    1. Maybe, but I doubt it. As far as I know, Trillium seeds are spread by mice and ants. There can always be an anomaly, though. There aren't many/any spottings posted on iNat that are in intermediate states, which makes me think that someone plated this at some point. The location is seemingly random and I am not sure why someone would bring this non-native north. Maybe just to see if it would grow? Posted 12 days ago
