Big Fat Tick! This was a well fed fat Tick on a Reticulated Python, to the right of it is a much smaller Tick.<br />

They were out for evening walk after dinner close to forested area next to residential houses.  They quickly called me and I was happy to go over to have a look.  The Python was &#039;resting&#039; after a meal as it has a bloated tummy but that part was hidden in the bushes and only about 1.5 meters of the head part was visible outside the bushes.<br />

Residents from nearby houses were curious and came out to look and they told us several of their pet cats have been missing and they suspect they have been eaten by this Python.  Initially they had wanted to kill it but I told them they should not and as compromise, the local Fire Rescue team were called to relocate this Python.<br />

Reticulated Python - Malayopython reticulatus This was a large sized Python, around 15 feet/5 meters, seen by the son of a friend from the local neighbourhood.
