Shortneedle Conifer Scale - Dynaspidiotus tsugae The ID is for the large, circular scale with the light center.<br />

I found these scales on eastern hemlock needles that were infested with hemlock woolly adelgids.<br />
<br />
Habitat: Mixed forest<br />
