Acalolepta sp. latero-facial Acalolepta is distributed from Japan, China through Southeast Asia to New Guinea, many Pacific Islands and here in Australia there are 15 species.<br />

This specimen was 25 mm body length. Each antenna was an impressive 53 mm from the head joint to the tip. This larger size indicates a female.<br />

In a natural setting, these have been seen on rubber trees Ficus elastica.<br />
