Horama panthalon/Texas Wasp Moth

Found on Purple plant (It might be in the aster family. Has very long back legs, and variegated leg joints. Wish I had better photos, it was very shady and along a roadside, so not all views were possible.

The Texas Wasp Moth is a moth of the subfamily Arctiinae. It is found in South America, Central America, Mexico, the Antilles and southern United States. The wingspan is 32–34 mm. Adults are on wing year round. They mimic a paper wasp.
