  1. Also want to add Gymnelia as a possible genus. It has some almost-exact matches. It is a very strange genus. iNaturalist shows only 5 species, Bold systems 13. In reality there exist a lot more in the genus that seem to be documented only in ancient books. Posted 5 years ago

      1. Sorry, was perhaps not clear enough: your photo is probably not Gymnelia peratea. I was emphasizing how difficult the Gymnelia genus is.

        Gymnelia carabayanum looks interesting. How sure are you of it? Hard to tell for me, there's only one photo of it online it seems, which is really tiny.
