Paropsis wilsoni
Paropsis wilsoni
Commonly called tortoise beetles or leaf beetles. Their small size, bright colours and patterns, and roughly hemispherical shape, can cause them to be mistaken for ladybeetles.
P. wilsoni is a small convex Paropsis species widespread across all states except Tasmania and much of Victoria, preferring inland habitats.
