Certallum ebulinum is a species of beetle from Certallini tribe (Cerambycinae). The scientific authority of the species is Linnaeus, and was described in 1767.

Distribution

Certallum ebulinum is widened with gaps around the Mediterranean (circummediterran). Distribution area over North Africa, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and several associated islands in the East comes the kind in southern Russia and the Ukraine. In addition, the nature of Greece, Cyprus, Turkey has reported the Middle East and some Eastern Mediterranean islands. To the north the species is rare. From Germany are just old and not recognized Fund reports. In Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the former Yugoslavia, the Beetle is missing.

Behavior

The larvae develop in the stems of different cruciferous (Raphanus, Erysimum, Sisymbrium and others) [5], presumably also in roots and stems of plants from other families (Labiatae and Umbelliferae).

Reproduction

The adult animals are found from April to July onwards flowers.
