Paropsisterna hectica is a mostly green-yellow eucalyptus leaf beetle which is found in Victoria, Australia.
Paropsisterna hectica A glossy green beetle sometimes common in heathland or alpine habitats. It appears to be restricted to one foodplant, snow gum and individual populations can vary in color, being yellow rather than green as is the Tasmanian population (called Paropsisterna aurea) and also sometimes with red through the anterior portion of the elytra. Appearance

About 10mm.
The face, pronotum, and skirt of the elytra are a semi translucent pale tan. The patterns on the elytra are on a base of vivd lime green to rich yellow, rows of finely striated pitting, inner eytral margins form a narrow, much darker dorsal mid-line; patches of bright red might extend back from the bases to half length.
