An attractive small pink and yellow moth found in south eastern Australia.
Yellow & Pink Wingia (Wingia hesperidella) This attractive little moth is a litter specialist and possibly a scat specialist. 
About 18mm long; mango and paw paw colours.
BBQ area wall in a local nature reserve.

Appearance

The adult moths have yellow forewings, with extensive pink patches along the costas, and narrow pink edges to the margins. The hindwings are off-white darkening to yellow at the wingtips. The wings have pointed wingtips. The wingspan is about 2.5 cms.

Distribution

Found in Australian states NSW, Victoria and Tasmania

Habitat

Specialist in leaf litter and scat.
