Piesarthrius marginellus (Piesarthrius marginellus)

Feather horned longicorn 'Rescued' from the web of a common house spider this one needed a lot of cleaning up with soft paint brushes for a 'photo shoot'.
I assumed it had been envenomed as it was very still but 24 hours later it flew off. Australia,Geotagged,Piesarthrius marginellus,Summer

Appearance

About 25mm long;
All is a base of reddish brown but with some pale tan patches on each wing cover.
Male antennae are typically long, segmented, on a large scape, with leaflets which it can fold flat or fan out.

Feather horned longicorn ♂ (Piesarthrius marginellus) About 25mm body length. Nice feathery antennae which it could actively open and close.
Landed on my shirt.
Found in a used car yard at night drawn by lights.

Australian east coast from Tpwnsville to Melbourne. Tasmania unknown.
