
Appearance
The male body is about 13mm and the female about 11mm. The male is mostly black or very dark reddish brown with some white markings and spots on the abdomen. The female is often paler coloured and has a thick white dorsal strip on the abdomen. Considerable variability exists in both sexes.Distribution
