Behavior

The butterflies are widespread and fairly common. They are usually encountered as singletons, and usually when imbibing moisture from sandbanks, peccary wallows, sunlit forest trails and dry river beds in well vegetated areas.

Habitat

This species is found in primary rainforest at altitudes between about 200-900m.
