Russula melliolens is a mushroom from the Russulacea family.
The hat is prevalent reddish, but often with different nuances. The spectrum ranges from bright red , crimson, pale flesh- pink or orange to apricot. Sometimes the hat is colored purple and violet and the center almost blackish. Occurs in deciduous forests and aged ones smell like honey. Diameter of the cap 5-12 cm.

It was quite difficult to identify this species. There are about 1060 species in the genus Russula, 74 of them recorded in Bulgaria. I've spent many hours checking hundreds of photos and different sources and finally the most likely species (having in mind the appearance, the time and place it has been found)  is Russula melliolens.
