Aulagromyza cornigera

Aulagromyza cornigera

''Aulagromyza cornigera'' is a species of leaf-mining fly in the family Agromyzidae. The larvae of this fly mine the leaves of plant species of the ''Lonicera'' and ''Symphoricarpos'' genera within the honeysuckle family. Mines potentially from this species have also been found on ''Triosteum perfoliatum''.
Leafmine - Aulagromyza cornigera Lumpy, but linear (reminded me of intestines) leafmine that followed the border of the leaf. There were spots of frass granules without a solid trail. The end of the mine (near the middle of the leaf) had a hole at the end, where I assume the larva exited to pupate.
