Appearance

Erect, glandular-pubescent annual with stiff bristly hairs. 10-60 cm stem, scabrid on the angles. Leaves are 20-60 x 10-40 mm, ovate. Flowers with 20-22 mm corolla, white or pale yellow with purple spots, glandular-pubescent with the tube, exceeding the calyx.

Distribution

The native range of this species is SE. Europe to W. Türkiye.

Habitat

Seasonally damp habitats in scrubland vegetation olive groves, gorges, open woodland and field margins. 0-800 m.
