Phytomyza minuscula group

Phytomyza minuscula

Phytomyza minuscula group are leaf miner flies in the family Agromyzidae.
Pupa - Complex Phytomyza minuscula group I extracted this pupa from the leaf mine. Pupae for this species group are usually plump and attach themselves to the outside of the leaf. This entire leaf had pupae inside the leaf and all were flat, like this one. Not sure why.
