Perennial herb, with axonomorphous root, sufruticulous or sometimes sufruticose, multicaule, unarmed, -sometimes the implical bracts somewhat sharp-, floccose-lanuginous, with unicellular, spidery tecting hairs, which agglomerate and detach easily, somewhat scabrid, with multicellular aculeoli short and rigid, more abundant especially on the upper part of the leaves, and sessile translucent glands.Distribution
Mediterranean (Iberic)Habitat
